On Tuesday, June 16, took place the 8th Innovation Forum with the topic touch technology where we’ve could discover how works this technology, which can make and what applications can be made from different real experiences.
This time came two experts in these technologies, Jose Miguel Aragonés and David González from Art Studio Multimedia company (http://www.artstudio.es/), that explained us how the touchscreen technology works, which advantages they have compared to non-tactile devices, and what level of potential interaction, usability and versatility provide them, all of this from the exposure of different experiments carried out.
For many years, we have seen in movies or television series were run on different devices with your fingers without any peripherals. The touchscreen technology is already a reality, and increasingly, in different areas and even a number of common devices such as mobile phones, which have much involvement in the spread and use of applications designed for touchscreen, and in these cases because of the importance of designing applications for small screens. With the increasing proliferation of this technology, we need only begin the long journey of how to design new interfaces and content appropriate to their new paradigm.
We can ask ourselves whether we are at the gates of both estimated to peripherals such as keyboard or mouse? We leave the question open for discussion.
