January, 22 took place the 10th Innovation Forum on the topic Augmented Reality (AR), where a team of experts presented the possibilities and advantages of this new technology as well as a few cases and real experiences developed through it. (Video in Catalan)

This concept allows to you to experience immersion and effortless navigation in an Augmented Reality environment. New types of interactions involving near-to-eye displays, gaze direction tracking, 3D audio, 3D video, gesture and touch. Through these new types of social linkages people will be connected in innovative ways between the physical and digital worlds.

Well, or at least where I would like. So e-book should be the future? I believe that it will be much sooner than we think. Could it be that this is what Apple has in mind? Soon we will know definitely…

On September, 17 2009 took place on 9th Innovation Forum that led to thematic Immersive spaces focused on virtual world Second Life, where we could explore the different possibilities and opportunities offered by this virtual environment for learning and creating virtual communities.
